The International Social Security Association (ISSA) was founded in 1927 under the auspices of the International Labor Organization and is the leading international organization that unites government agencies, organizations and departments in the field of social security. The organization has over 320 member organizations in 150 countries of the world with headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland). UAPF has been a member of the ISSA since May 1, 2015.
From January 2021, as of December 1, 2022, the UAPF has executed 1,340,016 applications from contributors (beneficiaries) for the use of pension savings to improve housing conditions. About KZT3.2 trillion was transferred to the special accounts of Kazakhstanis opened in banks-authorized operators. The average amount of lump-sum pension benefits amounted to about KZT2.4 million. However, it should be noted that this figure is different in different regions. For example, residents of the Mangistau region use an average of KZT3.8 million, the North Kazakhstan region - KZT1.2 million.

Presented here is a monthly detailed report on the investment of pension assets by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NBRK) and investment portfolio managers (IPM), as well as reviews of investment activities.
22.6 million statements on the status of individual pension saving accounts (IPSA) were issued by the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund to contributors and beneficiaries for 10 months of the current year (in the period from 01.01.2022 to 01.11.2022). Of these, 17.8 million (78.5%) were issued in electronic format. Issuance of statements is the most popular service of UAPF.
The amount of pension savings of contributors to the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund as of November 1, 2022 amounted to KZT14.1 trillion. Investment income accrued since the beginning of the year, 672.6 billion tenge, the return on pension assets over the past 12 months on pension assets, provided by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan (from November 2021 to October 2022), amounted to 5.97%.
As of November 1, 2022, pension savings in the amount of KZT14.15 trillion were formed on the accounts of depositors of the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund. Since the beginning of the year, pension savings have grown by more than KZT1 trillion (or 8.2%).
