Nazym A. Baqtybayev

Managing Director of the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund Joint-Stock Company

Responsibilities of the Managing Director:
Provides general management, coordination, and oversight of the Fund's work on the following issues:

• document management and archiving;
• legal support for the Fund's activities;
• handling distressed assets;
• interaction with government agencies, organizations, and individuals on matters within his/her competence.

Education:

Graduated from Turan University in 2004 with a degree in Jurisprudence. 

Work experience:

Since 2004, he began his career at the Legal Tax Clinic at Turan University as a consultant. 

From 2004 to 2008, he worked as a legal adviser at the following organizations: Association of Printing Workers of Kazakhstan, Technology of Imaging LLP, and D.A. Kunayev ONPF JSC; and at D.A. Kunayev (from May to July 2008) held the position of Head of the Legal Department.

From 2008 to 2010, he worked at Amanat NPF JSC as Head of the Legal Department.

From 2010 to the present, he has been working at UAPF JSC. He began his career at UAPF JSC as a Category 1 Specialist in the Pension and Investment Legal Support Department (from 2010 to 2012), was promoted to Chief Specialist in the same division (from 2012 to 2014), and from 2014 to 2016, he held the position of Head of the Pension Legal Support Department in the Legal Department. From 2016 to 2017, he served as Deputy Head of the Legal Department. From August 2017 to December 2025, he served as Director of the Legal Department at UAPF JSC. Since January 2026, he has been appointed Managing Director of UAPF JSC.

He does not hold other positions.
