Murat T. Sharipov

Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Member of the Executive Board of the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund Joint-Stock Company.

Functions of the Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board:

Exercises overall management, coordination, and oversight of activities regarding:

• support and development of the regional network;
• provision of remote consulting services;
• overall coordination of the Fund’s branches;
• interaction with government bodies, organizations, and individuals on matters within his scope of competence.

Education:

1994 – Graduated from the Almaty Accounting and Credit College of the Kazakh Academy of Management with a specialization in Banking.

1999 – Graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management with a specialization in Finance and Credit.

2010 – Graduated from Turan University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Corporate Management.

2023 – Graduated from the Central Kazakhstan Academy with a specialization in Law. 

Experience:

From April 1994 to August 1994, he worked as an economist-accountant at the Settlement and Cash Center of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kabanbay village).

From 1994 to 1997, he worked at the Main Almaty Territorial Directorate of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holding various positions: senior auditor and lead auditor in the Control and Audit Division, chief economist in the Bank Liquidation Directorate, and chief auditor in the Internal Audit Sector.

From March 1997 to May 1998, he worked as a lead economist in the Audit Division for Branches and Independent Structural Units, and as deputy head of the Central Office Audit Division within the Internal Audit Directorate of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s Control and Audit Department.

From August 1998 to February 2003, he served as deputy head of the Central Office Audit Directorate within the Internal Audit Department of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From 2003 to 2005, he worked as chief accountant and head of the Finance and Administrative Division (Chief Accountant) at JSC "Kazakhstan Deposit Guarantee Fund."

From February 2005 to December 2005, he served as director of the Internal Audit Service Directorate at BTA Insurance JSC and BTA Life Insurance JSC.

From January 2006 to December 2012, he served as Director of the Central Branch (Astana) of Zhilstroysberbank of Kazakhstan JSC.

From January 2013 to May 2014, he served as Managing Director of Zhilstroysberbank of Kazakhstan JSC.

From August 2014 to July 2015, he served as Executive Director of Financial Academy JSC.

From April 2016 to April 2017, he served as Deputy Director and subsequently Director of the Coordination Department at UAPF JSC.

From May 2017 to February 2023, he served as Director of the Astana Branch and Managing Director at UAPF JSC.

From February 15, 2023 to September 24, 2026, M.T. Sharipov has held the position of Managing Director – Director of the Astana Branch of UAPF JSC.

Since September 25, 2026, Murat T. Sharipov has been appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Executive Board and member of the Executive Board of UAPF JSC.
